War has literally been declared on the US by a self-avowed and identifiable 
enemy.  In a single day an attack by air killed unknown thousands of US 
citizens in structures iconic of US financial and militay might.  And 
attempt was made on the life of the US president.  It's easy for YOU to say 
WE'RE not at war.  I think your reasoning is self-serving.
