some thoughts on day 1

These past few days I keep hearing of (mostly from my wife) all kinds of 
things which we shouldn't allow ourselves to mentally indulge in lest we 
give way to what THEY wanted us to do.  I say we should feel it all.

THEY are not that smart, but now and then THEY get lucky.  That branch 
office in all our brains is a two-way street, thank God!
