You are attempting to demonstrate or prove that the
terrorists were justified. 

You are arguing that they were  right, that their complaints
were valid and their actions justified. You are saying that
their anger was and is justified by the circumstances. 

I'm not sure you are declaring them free of blame or
attempting to argue that their actions were not criminal, 
but you are arguing that the USA was vulnerable because the
terrorists had justified cause.

clear, that you are attempting to  demonstrate sufficient 
reason for the actions taken, to justify the terrorist's
actions. 

Perhaps I am misreading, if so, let me know. I'm not being
hostile and my feelings are not running high and,  if I have
mischaracterized your posts, please correct me.
