i second this. though i still believe you could contain serious things
in popular culture without trivializing them. it's just a question of
how much talent or "deepness" its creators got. but i don't want to start
a new discussion here.. ;)
i just hope that some of the more dreadful comedians now will keep their
mouths shut for a while. however, there also seem to be tactful people
around in comedy business though. not just woody allen ;)
harald schmidt, probably the best late night show moderator and comedian
round here, stopped all his shows until next week. even the satire magazin
called "titanic" took themselves a day off for mourning on their website.
on the other hand, you also had 4th-class-actors and would-bes
bubbling ahead on talkshows, proving their gutmenschentum, or their
bourgeoiseness by "shocking" everybody else with supposedly unpopular
statements. they'll probably end up first on the agenda of the
professional satiricists once the shock is over ;)
anyway, thx for listening, let's go back fighting for peace and privacy
now..
