Bush paused as the chamber applauded. I thought, does he know what he is
saying? Do the people applauding him know? Well, someone knows. Sounded like
a Pat Buchanan line to me.
I must admit, I did a double-take when I heard Bush utter this line.
Nietzsche is forever doomed to be one of the first philosophical conscripts
in our wars of good versus evil, no matter how hard he tried to move beyond
it. Sigh. Jesus and the prophet Mohammed beat him to the punch this time
though. That's right: Christ is a philosopher. Our leader says so.
