Meaning of "Bin Laden"

hm.. although rather more obvious would be the German interpretation of
the name as meaning simply "loading", like in "i am (off) loading my
guns"..
also: in linux, there is a directory for binary files abbreviated "bin",
which some geeks - before the attacks, of course - made fun of by using
things like "/bin/laden" as their pseudonyms.
and, btw, their user accounts got banned meanwhile ;)
just tidbits of info, i know, but as we're all pynchon-ites..
