Pynchon and the current situation

A number of people have written OFFLIST. They have argued that my
position is at odds with the texts of TRP and the critical studies of
those texts. I'm not going to reply to OFFLIST posts.  I've written 
hundreds posts on War in Pynchon's novels. I could go into the archives
and cut and paste. If I did, I would be able to demonstrate that the
position I have taken here is supportable, by the TRP texts, by my
reading of those texts, by the critical studies, by the letters and
essays Thomas Pynchon has published or allowed to be published, by the
extensive citations I have added to the archives from the text Pynchon
is known to have read and used to write his books, etc.
