MDMD2: Magnetical Stupor

I'll read it again, the creme de la creme of western intelligentsia is 
amassed against me here and I obviously read it with too jaundiced an eye. 
 I'll let you guys know if my opinion has mellowed with the years (I last 
read it in the mid-89s.)  I've tried to see Buena Vista Social Club three 
times and each evening just as I was about to grab my coat one of my kids 
got sick or my wife had to go out or whatever.  I am however going out to 
see some local jazz tonight.  I'll toast you fine gentlemen with a big 
frothy beer as some guy sweats over his sax.
