Tristan's book party was originally scheduled for the night of September 11.
It was postponed for two weeks, recast as a fundraiser for disaster relief,
and held at the originally booked venue--a club located about a block from a
Red Cross encampment.  From just outside the club, one could see the plume
of smoke that is still rising from the site of the World Trade Center
complex.
