On the other hand, Dixon and Mason have been set up and there is no way
out. 
The Captain  Knight (not unlike Pointmans of GR) riding his scientific
horse wages war with the holy ghost Frenchman, but it all seems staged.
He's no Knight. He's no defender of the mysteries of faith. Perhaps it's
all theatre.
