May I also mention another book in which Susan George thinks the consequences 
of "preserving neoliberal capitalism" to its very end:
"The Lugano Report. On Preserving Capitalism in the Twenty-First Century. 
With an Appendix and After word by Susan George", Pluto Press, London 1999.

The Lugano report is a fictive text, a satire, written by Susan George 
herself. But she shows that "solving the problems of global capitalism" could 
be a new kind of "Endloesung"...
