the book by Pulitzer Prize winner Daniel Yergin and Joseph Stanislaw,
this six-hour limited series traces the evolution of
the modern global economy through the nine tumultuous decades since
World War I.

I read Yergin's Prize, it too was made into a PBS TV program.
In fact, the book reads like a TV program, not too bad an Intro to Oil
book.
