It was my (former) best friend who pilfered my '74 Bantam. I've told my wife
if she ever decides to read it, I'll buy her a copy of her own.

Harumph. No infidels in *my* library. <grin>

<sigh> You would have to go and ruin my morning by mentioning *that* one,
wouldn't you. OK, I lied. I own all the US GR's except the '91 hardcover.

I had it on order for over a year at three local booksellers (two indies and
a chain). No luck. Evidently it was either a phantom of some PR flack's
fevered imagination, or the press run must have been very, very small and
was snapped up immediately by collectors. In my experience browsing Ebay,
original 1973 hardcovers (not first editions) are easier to find than the
'91, for some odd reason.

I envy you. I have library-binding hardcovers of both V. and CoL49 done by
an outfit called Buccaneer Books that are quite nice: extra heavy covers,
double stitched, acid-free paper, etc. They were rather pricey - I believe
CoL49 was $30 and V. was $50 - but well worth it. I wish those folks would
do a GR.
