Thanks for posting this.  I was surprised and honored
to have heard from Prof. Tomaske, as Steve would have
had my e-mail address only because he had kindly sent
along the occasional reference and/or bibliography ...

Being relatively new here, I didn't have much to pass
on to his father beyond that except the following.  I
