Thank you, jbor. I saw the movie many years ago, and I thought it was great. I remember that it had a lot to do with the theatre of the absurd, and that it contained a lot of irony, but I didn't find it comical. Maybe I have to see it again on video (if it can be found...). The passages from Hamlet you refer to are pretty ironic, but I can't say they would qualify as comical. But then, everyone has his own unique way of looking at things (especially art). One just has to respect and share.
