Five clear dots of light

A view of the skies without binoculars will currently show five clear
dots of light, seemingly the appearance of bright stars.

Last night, high on the roof over the FDR I looked for the dots of
light. Far from an  ideal location or even a good night for Obs, there
they were. I counted, one, two, three, four, five, then six, seven,
eight, nine, ten, and then it hit me like a blast from a jet plane
engine: 
hsssssssshshshhshhshshhhshshzhzhzhzhzzzzzzzzzzzhshshshshshshshhssssssss. 

My girls were coming in from Colombia and I was gonna be late picking
them up again. 
Again! Spaced out again. 

As Andy Kaufman used to say, 
"Here's looking at you, kid."
