As THEY say, "youth is wasted..."...
Blame God.
There IS an afteryouth. Although I cling to the vestiges of the former, I
must admit the few and paltry advantages of age. For me, Gravity's Rainbow
was one of these few. Ad Ulysses is an even later one.
Youth is far too short to fit in all we elders (demi-gods) deem important.
