Appealing to personal considerations rather than to logic or reason:
Debaters should avoid ad hominem arguments that question their
opponents' motives. AHD
You smash christianity and with same breath say that my reading of the
texts or my reflections, since the text, according to your postmodernist
theory, is only a mirror held up to the reader, are motivated by my
desire to find a Christian message therein.
Branwraith has decided not to provide any evidence from the texts.
Instead he makes a statement about how the text is a mirror held up to
the reader. He goes on to connect my reading to some motive or desire on
my part. A very poor argument, but what we expect around these parts.
