So much more entertaining of course when rambling on about the Second Law
of Thermodynamics,  regurgitation of the garbled transistent would be of
the air/head, while clearly the cystical pathetic apoplectic would be of
the earth/loon consistency.

Neither Mr. V. nor Mr. T. are fustian, but they are very different in
aeration (and each  thinks, boing, and will smell the other).  Pynchon
splays all of these contrasts, with more.
