Having tried my green thumbs at growing plants indoors (popular here in
NYC where hydroponics stores abound) and wanting to do so "organically"
or w/o pesticides, I've discovered that buying the cheap bananas--those
with a little brown on the skin, can be hazardous to your plants.
Within four blocks of my building there are at least seven butchers.
The gypsy roofer: "That's outrageous, I can buy the same chicken breast
from the Koreans down the block for half the price!
The Greek Butcher: "But my chickens are organic."
The gypsy roofer: Are you speaking to angels? All chickens are organic."
Isn't there a giant chicken in Sleeper too?
