I think jbor's hoping nobody will notice how he's
shifted gears in this thread, after blundering into
some foolish, and I expect hasty, statements about
text being the only way that humans experience the
world.
It's like that Salon.com cartoon I pointed to earlier
-- if you don't achieve what you set out to achieve,
just retroactively redefine your objectives and
declare victory. Dodgy, but effective.
