I'm afraid you've misunderstood the meaning of
"freeloading" in this instance, Otto. The articles
published at Counterpunch.com are free to anybody to
read. I suspect he means that you're too lazy to go
to his web site and read the entire article, but
instead attack what he writes based on a small part of
the article that's been quoted elsewhere. Today's
vocabulary builder for you: freeloaders are too lazy
to go to the trouble to get something but instead
depend on hand-outs.

" free·load   Pronunciation Key  (frld)
intr.v. Slang free·load·ed, free·load·ing, free·loads

To take advantage of the charity, generosity, or
hospitality of others."

A synonym is "sponger".

You'll note, too, if you care to be accurate, that I
don't post entire articles, just bits and pieces in
the context of our discussion here (this is permitted
under the "fair use" provising of intellectual
property law) and I include links to take people back
to the site, helping to build traffic.

Still flame-free,
Doug
