i'm only a few days old on this list.
strange one too, not at all what i expected.
so much posing you'd think glamor was a pair 
of bifocals and a paper cut.

i read parts of gravity's rainbow and enjoyed mostly
the more comedic aspects of it, read vineland and
thought it was like a lesser tom robbins combined
with a greater trashy writer.  now i'm trudging through
m&d, reading and rereading and rereading again
page after page until i absorb it as i feel i ought to.

i'm not down with the lit crit. posse.  
literary criticism ought not to be more obtuse than
the works it seeks to break down.

i think i'm more fascinated with the idea of pynchon than
i am by anyone of his particular literary talents.
i do like the giant adenoid though.
