Whither the P-List?

With all due respect to the respectful Dave Monroe, who suggested _Vineland_
for its apt connections to today's world events, I still offer that we
consider a "pomo" work that's pre-twentieth century.  _The Confidence Man_
is relatively short and an excellent influence on Pynchon's works.  Or
_Moby-Dick_, which is grandest of all.

... Or we could throw caution to the wind and read _Paradise Lost_!!!
