Not once you've actually posted something here, it's
not, apparently.  The decision was, post what I had to
say and risk getting caught up in nastiness I had no
doubt was underway despite going out of my way simply
not to deal with it, or give in to what I susepct
might be a Problem here, that is, not participating by
virtue of sheer intimidation.  Having gone to some
effort to encourage the former (er, participation,
hee) and discourage the latter (intimidation) both
offlist and on, figured, I really oughtta follow my
own advice, no?  But am worried that dissension has
become a persecutable heresy here ...
