Yes. The dress that Ada wears ("was permitted to wear") to her 12th BD party
is called:
"her lolita (thus dubbed after the little Andalusian gipsy of that name in
Osberg's novel and pronounced, incedentallly, with a Spanish 't,' not a thick
English one), a rather long, but very airy and ample, black skirt, with red
poppies or peonies, 'deficient in botanical reality,' as she expressed it, not
yey knowing that reality and natural science are synonomous in the terms of
this, and only this, dream.

And her governess allows her to wear it without....
Oh, but that would be telling too much!
