Does she? Levine and Buttercup both seem to enjoy the fore-banter, but while
he simply goes through the motions, in that cabin called home, isn't there
at least a bit of depravity in her "whimpering" from the mattress? An
addict's craving for what no longer stimulates (transmarginal??)? Or maybe
she's just thumbing a ride up out of the swamp....too bad for her that
Levine, the plowboy college-boy, is going native.
