I was one so fortunate.

Back at the end of the last GRGR (Gravity's Rainbow Group Read) in October
2000, Frodeaux suggested an "Endparty" get together in New Orleans.  I agreed
and kai also accepted and stayed at my house for a long weekend.  Frodeaux was
going to bring his homemade duck gumbo.  We had a get-together, but the duck
gumbo had to wait until a later date when Frodeaux and his wife Gaye stayed
over one night at our house in the French Quarter.  Gaye is also a wonderful
person whose company my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed from their first visit. 
She requested that the list be notified of his passing, I am forwarding the
list's resposes to her,  I will also carry the list's condolences to her at the
funeral tomorrow.
