Thank you.. that is a fascinating article.

The suggestion (in the article), however, that Seuss "went pink" 
in the 70s and 80s, seems to me to ignore a substantial body 
of his work as an editorial cartoonist at the New York left wing 
newspaper PM during the Second World War
