Well, y'know, it's not like when something's in the
news/air/whatever, it doesn't engender commentary,
does it?  Like this guy was sitting on his thesis for
years until the SECOND film came out?  So he could
rake in all that cash that inevitably flows to
literary scholarship?  No, I don't even remember what
in particular he might (or might not, for that matter)
have written, I just can't believe the neurosis here
over it all, is all.  And I'm guessing, maybe apart
from Joe, I'm the reigning Tolkien geek here ...
