Anti-Australian?  Moi?  Starting with my extensive
collection of plush marsupials (hey, I've already
admitted to my collection of bubblegum records, so
...) up through my great admiration for the Australian
film industry?  And do see Rabbit-Proof Fence, though
I suspect that, if it just started here, it's long
since completed its Australian run ...

The oldest girl esp. is great, and how often does that
happen with child actors?  Also, Gangs of New York
and, amazingly (Speilberg, DiCaprio, Hanks, all the
odds against it), Catch Me if You Can ...

And 60s Young America was hardly a homgeneous, much
less an overwhelimingly liberal-to-leftist

A lot of people say a lot of things.  But one of the
things I've yet to say is that either Tolkien or his
texts are "racist."  Nor did I say that ...
