I don't know, maybe Mr Monroe got somewhere else with that German stuff.
Also, the Teutonic dispensation referred to earlier would touch on this too.
Were Germans such a strong presence in this period of Us history? Not that
there seems to be much unity. There just seems to be a lot of individual
Germans (or, hell, German enthusiasts maybe) running around.
