Hmm, when you say it like that I like to say it more
*not-exclusively-linear, but cyclical too* -- if we use the line within the
postmodern context we never may forget its opposite, the cycle -- something
Pynchon has said a lot about in GR too.

"anti-linear" again sounds somewhat *total*, leaving no way for progress at
all. Showing the weaknesses of strict linearity, the abuse of property &
money, science & progress, history & religious belief, yes.

How about anti-totalitarian?
