Sorry to have perhaps implied irritation.  Line I
forgot, noting the similarities, the standardization
of the cartoon duck voice, perhaps.  I continue to
hear the duck with Daffy's voice, despite
not-so-covert references to Donald, as well ...

And there's no such thing a an intruder here.  Reminds
me, speaking of opera, if anyone has any ideas as to
just which ones are being alluded to in re: those
"Guardians" (p. 377), "Intermediaries" (p. 379).  I've
been hung up on that for a while, hence the delay ...

But a thousand pardons, ev'ryone, on a mad dash to
cover everything I possibly can (which is hardly
everything) as quickly as I possibly can (which isn't
very quickly at all, esp. given this ferschlugginer
Microsoft browser I'm now stuck with
everywhere--wasn't there some sort of lawsuit over
such shenanigans afooot not long ago?).  Trying to
make use of everything I've accumulated, but ...
