Happy New Year

You know, I went to the trouble to order stuff from
France and Germany just in order to use the franc and
the Deutschmark one last time.  Sure, it might
strengthen economies, make lives easier, and so forth,
but as an erstwhile collector ... what next,
Eurostamps?  I likes my colorful little pieces of
paper.  At least the pound (and the krone) will remain
in circulation ...
