From Peter Bradshaw, "Driven to Distraction," The
Guardian, Friday, January 4, 2002 ...
"The narrative of Mulholland Dr, uproariously weird as
it is, actually does make a baggy sort of sense..."
[Snip, pointers- see orig post]
>> Not an esp. enlightening review, but, in general,
there are very good reasons why The Guardian might
just be Our Man Pynch's news medium of choice <<
Why then did he not give the interview to The Guardian?
Seems to be a definite assymmetry between input and
output. It could be just a matter of not wanting to
defecate in the kitchen, or.... I am haunted by the final
words of George Lakoff's take on 9-11:
"Who has the courage to discuss domestic policy
frankly at this time?"
