years, vs., say, Pynchon's entire life?  Esp. if this
is "a first."  My understanding is, Doug heard of this
from John Krafft,  Would y'all be so rabid about this
had Professor Krafft posted on the existence of the
article, a translation of it, even, instead of Doug? 
No.  This ruckus is being raised, in the first
instance, at least, in order to raise it with Doug.  I
suspect it persists, however, because pynchon might
very well be saying something you, some of you, at any
rate, don't want him to say.  Not quite sure what that
might be, but ... but, well, too late to simply post
those very same comments without attributing them to
Pynchon and then see how y'all respond.  Next time,
then ...
