Yes, Doug  is simple when it comes to interpreting p-text, but this is only
part of the reason for his notoriety amongst us, which seems to me in large
part to stem from his likeness to the hapless playground bully who daily goes
out to pick a fight and always ends up being the one with the bloody nose. So
in a nutshell he's both  an insufferable person to have around and at the same
time best evidence so far for the existence of a benevolent God.
