I'm surprised he didn't post the whole e-mail.
Back in the Paleolithic Period of the internet (early 90's), there used to
be this thing called "netiquette". Quaint by modern standards I know, but
one of its primary components as it related to public mailing lists held
that private correspondence should not be made public without the consent of
all parties involved.
I guess Mr. Millison has never heard about that one.
Whatever. I've killfiled millison at online-journalist.com and
barbara100 at jps.net, because I regrettably lack the self-control necessary to
keep this kind of noise off the list. I apologize sincerely to everyone else
for taking up bandwidth with such an inauspicious debut, and I hope you
won't judge any future contributions I may attempt to make to the
discussions here by the yardstick of this sorry incident.
