Is resolving to ignore Doug really a very good idea?
In the first place ignoring him is impossible, in the same way it was
impossible to ignore Jules.
Secondly, do we really WANT the insults he unleashes on the p-list to go
unanswered. I would be willing to let the simple minded interpretations of the
books go unnoticed (though I haven't always followed this practice in the
past). But the bullying, often repeated charges that we are blind and derelict
in our obligation to world justice because we don't accept his positions
should NOT go unnoticed and unanswered.
To save labor we could take turns.
