I agree; I don't know what sort of constraint I could live with.  Still I 
squirm.  Perhaps the question becomes: is the sort of thing we're speaking of 
a form of sentimentality; i.e., something that draws a kneejerk and 
unconsidered response and is, therefore, not art.
