Okay, thanks, makes perfect sense to me ...

But reread HF a few years back, what struck me that
time 'round was precisely the collison of logics,
Huck's and Jim's, throughout, very good. And thanks
for the quotes, have forwarded them around ...

Reminds me, however, of my favorite line from "The
Beverly Hillbillies." Jane Hathaway, having raised
feminist consciousness amongst both the female
employees at The Commerce Bank and the Clampett women
(Granny, Ellie May), has left Jed, Jethro, and Mr.
Drysdale to be served solely by a troupe of geishas
who for whatever reason have moved into Stately
Clampett Manor (or was that another biweekly 60s
teevee camp classic ...?). Ultimately, however, Miss
(later, attempted Congresswoman, though Republican
Buddy Ebsen endorsed her opponent instead) H gets to
them as well, and she, Granny and Ellie May take their
place, disguised by wigs, white make-up and kimonos.
Of course, the tea ceremony (J, J & Mr. D all kneeling
in kimonos 'round the service) deosn't go quite as
well as it had with the professionals. Granny
caterwauls whilst plucking a samosen, for example,
and, later insulted, spills tea in Mr. Drysdale's lap.
 At which point ...

Mr. Drysdale: "You call this a tea ceremony? This is
lousy!"

Jethro: "Rousy! Rousy! Man, you ain't never gonna
learn Japanese."

Something like that. I'm not making this up ...
