Part of the answer might be that Linux (or more properly GNU/Linux,
because the operating system invented and still overseen by Heikki's
countryman Linus Torvalds is only a part of the total environment) can't
very well be a religion at all in the supernatural sense since the
SOURCE CODE unlike in the case with Microsoft and Apple IS KNOWN TO ALL.
There are no MYSTERIES about how we got here from there.
In another way Linux is older than any of the monotheistic religions
having been based on the ideas behind UNIX invented by who else but the
telephone company (Ma Bell) from which latter day OSs sprang.
