Well, I don't know, thus far we have not met Lewis. Franklin denies
knowing him. Even when Franklin's scheme to set Mason against Dixon and
Dixon against Mason, priming each for information about the other begins
to unravel, Franklin never admits that Lewis is a player in his company.
Lewis could very well be, unless I'm missing some definitive evidence
for his existence, a ploy Dixon and Mason have made up. Not that made
up persona are any less real than any other figures on this american
stage, but if so, they have certainly got their Act together. Having
been on a few adventures together, our boys (despite the fact that Mason
is and always will be Dixon's Sr.) seem to have developed their act, a
certain comic synergy has been refined, the wrinkles ironed out. When at
the Washingtons, they divide their labors effortlessly. While Franklin
does admit that he has been a bit obvious and transparent with his
inquiries and ploys, not to mention his attempt to get our duo to do
the rat, I'm not sure we can be certain that Lewis is Franklin's man.

Yes. BTW, Ben's Universal Balm is what? Snake oil? Money? Is it Ben
Franklin's Universal Balm? Or Ben Johnson's? Hebraic or Herb-raic?

I'm interested, just can't quite get what it is you are saying here, but
I'm a slow learner, so patience pleeeze, I've got a light bulb helium
balloon tied to the bed post and I'm just waiting for illumination.
Rainy day woman here again today so maybe lightning will strike.

I've got my string, I've got my key and kite.
Follow Franklin out.

step out into the Night's Main Drama.
I've got my Scythe, I've got Jesuit degrees.
