aaaand there's the Laurel and Hardy film, er, 'Sailors Beware'. 1927, B&W.
Not much of a link, I know. But then again, it was written by Hal Roach, who
produced 'Topper' (1937) 'Topper Takes a Trip' (1939)and 'Topper Returns'
(1941) (referred to, wasn't it, in the previous chapter...?) Not to mention
literally hundreds of other titles, including some classics as well as films
with names like "Should Sailors Marry?" (1924) "Say it with Babies" (1926)
"Strange Innertube" (1932) "Putting Pants on Phillip" (1927) "The Spanking
Age" (1928) and my favourite, "Dudes are Pretty People" (1942).
"And Be Quick About It" was the English title of 'Et Que ca Saute' (1955)
but I think that's a bit of a stretch, as I *think* it was a Moroccan/French
film which didn't really get much distribution.
