howdy. just joined the list.....bout 30 seconds ago.....
you can call me "j" for short.

if anybody cares.......i'm a math geek that reads too much, is into
conspiracy [fuck "reality", the bigger the better] and likes very, very
strange music.

anyways, i'm mostly here looking for information on pynchon geneaology and
then to lurk - i have sort of a pet project i'm working on linking elected
leaders to the royal houses of europe, thus raising the question of whether
they were truly elected or not, and i thought it might be "fun" to link up
some other people. i've got down to a thomas ruggles pynchon born in new
haven in 1823; whom i'm assuming is our boy's grand or great grandfather.
any information on the man's direct line backwards would be much
appreciated...even if it's simply what year his father was born in.
everything seems to abruptly end at 1823......you'd think the guy was
childless if you didn't know better.

or maybe i don't know better and am barking down the wrong tree. kinda
difficult to explain the ruggles part without, though.

anyways, any info would be appreciated :)
