Okay, even whilst I continue to spin my wheels here,
nevertheless, again, PYNCHON List, PYNCHON List, let's
do get through M&D (Lord knows I'm trying, at least),
then move on to, if not Vineland (which I really
SHOULD reread), Slow Learner, story by story, maybe
even "Mortality and Mercy in Vienna" (online), "back
to roots," as it were, which would indeed afford us an
excellent opportunity to follow up on Mike Weaver's
excellent suggestion, a discussion organized by theme,
element, whatever, rather than given text, follow
those lines, their twists and turns, all the way up to
(hopefully) a brand new (PYNCHON) novel.  And maybe we
can STILL sneak Vineland in there somewhere, so ...
