i think you made your point...
may i just say that afrocentrism originally spans from african
historians such as cheik anta diop, who didn't just write baseless stuff. i think african americans joined in later on,
for all i know. not that african afrocentrists are any better than
their african american peers, but they still have different claims and
goals, i think.
and i agree the way she jumps from gratuitous claims to the issue of
reparations is at the least disturbing, and indeed does not help her
cause.
i personally think there are enough historically unattackable
examples she could use to relate to the issue of reparations, haiti's tribute to france being the most solid
i can think of (if not the only i can think of that can actually be
calculated).

 talking about reparations would anybody know what's
happened to that case that was brought to court in new york?
