no but seriously it's not even like that was a big deal anyway. i
mean, spitting?  amoros
(french defender) headbutted a dane in the euro '84. the
guy had tackled him pretty hard  and was coming to help him up or something and he
flat out headbutted him... i remember that vividly. we weer winning
with only a few minutes to go and amoros is sitting there and you can
tell he's not happy. i think he first threw the ball at the guy before
headbutting him. hm. oh well. it wasn't cool. we were all
appalled. but oh well, it was 18 years ago. i guess amoros was simply
angry at being tackled so bad. he came back for the finals though.
