Wouldn't have been if she'd put it like Wilkins did but as I understand it she
manufactures a bunch of bogus history to back pretty ridiculous claims. (haven't  read
Walker so this is tentative)

Wilkins view as reported in the post is at least plausible. If it hasn't already been
it should be tested by other historians based on what  been discovered about the
period..
